I would sneak back after meetings I had with them in Benin. After returning from exile in 1998, he quickly rose to fame and was elected governor of Lagos state in May 1999. He is renowned around the world for founding 37 LGAs in the state. He had eight successful years in office as governor!

The former governor of Lagos state, known as “Jagaban,” visited the presidential villa on January 10, 2022, and officially told President Buhari of his intention to run for office in 2023. After defeating more than ten other candidates, Tinubu was declared the winner of the party’s Abuja primary election on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
