More than 200,000 applications were submitted and 70,000 were selected for on-line training and business plan submission. 15,000 have been pre-selected for the pitch while a total of 4,000 will be awarded the grant.
To arrive at this number, entrepreneurs who had high scores from the quiz, a structured business plan, online presence at TEF forum, gender sensitivity, and geographical distribution plays a major role in their selection criteria.
